Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you use nutriyo.in or sign up for a Nutriyo meal plan. Please read them before you start a plan. By using our website or service, you agree to these terms.

1. About Nutriyo

Nutriyo (nutriyo.in) is an Indian diet plan service. We build weekly, condition-first meal plans from an intake form you complete, and deliver them to you on WhatsApp. In these terms, "Nutriyo", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Nutriyo, and "you" refers to anyone who uses our website or signs up for a plan. We operate out of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

2. Who can use Nutriyo

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nutriyo. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Nutriyo is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

You should be able to make your own decisions about your food and health, or be using Nutriyo under the guidance of a parent, guardian, or treating doctor if you have a condition that needs close medical supervision.

3. This is not medical advice

Nutriyo provides general nutritional guidance based on the information you share with us. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or care from a qualified doctor.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a diagnosed medical condition, or taking medication, please consult your doctor before starting or changing your diet, and keep them informed of any changes you make based on your Nutriyo plan. Never stop or change a prescribed medication because of anything in your meal plan without your doctor's advice. If you have a medical emergency, contact a doctor or emergency services directly, not Nutriyo.

4. Assumption of risk

Making changes to your diet, even guided ones, carries some inherent risk, for example if you have an undiagnosed condition, an allergy you did not tell us about, or a reaction specific to you. By using Nutriyo, you understand and accept this risk, and confirm that you are following your plan voluntarily and at your own discretion.

You are responsible for stopping and seeking medical attention if something in your plan does not agree with you, and for checking with your doctor before making any significant dietary change if you have a medical condition, as set out in Section 3.

5. How the service works

When you sign up, you complete a short form about your condition, food habits, routine, and goals. Based on this, we send your first 7-day Indian meal plan as a PDF on WhatsApp, usually within 24 hours. Every 7 days, you share a short check-in on how your week went, and we rebuild your plan for the week ahead using that information.

Our plans are built around real Indian food from your own kitchen, adjusted for your condition. They are general guidance and may not be appropriate for every individual circumstance, which is why the medical disclaimer in Section 3 applies throughout your use of the service.

6. Your information

Your plan is only as accurate as the information you give us. You agree to provide honest and reasonably complete information about your health conditions, medications, allergies, food habits, and routine, and to update us if anything changes. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from incomplete or inaccurate information you provided to us.

7. Payments

We do not collect or process payments through nutriyo.in. When you decide to start a paid plan, our team shares a secure payment link with you directly, over WhatsApp or a call, through a third-party payment gateway. You will always be told the plan and price before you are asked to pay, and payment confirms your plan and billing cycle.

8. Refunds and cancellations

You can request a refund within 7 days of your payment date. We will refund the amount you paid, excluding GST. GST collected on your payment is remitted to the government and is not refundable.

Full details, including how to request a refund, are in our Refund Policy.

You can also contact us at any time to pause, change, or cancel future billing for your plan; this section covers refunds for payments already made.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use Nutriyo for your own personal, non-commercial use, and not to misuse our website, impersonate someone else, or interfere with how the service works for other users. We may suspend or end your access if you use the service in a way that is unlawful, abusive, or breaches these terms.

10. Intellectual property

The meal plans, content, and materials we send you are for your personal use. You may not resell, publish, or redistribute them commercially. The Nutriyo name, logo, and website content belong to us and may not be used without our permission.

11. Delivery over WhatsApp

We deliver plans and check-ins over WhatsApp, a third-party messaging service operated by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy practices, which are outside our control. If WhatsApp is unavailable for any reason, we will try to reach you through another contact method you have given us.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nutriyo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee specific health outcomes, weight loss, or symptom improvement, since results depend on your condition, consistency, medication, and factors outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, Nutriyo and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where Nutriyo is found liable for any claim relating to the service despite this, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan giving rise to the claim in the preceding 3 months.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, or for fraud.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nutriyo, its team, and its affiliates harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of or related to: (a) information you gave us that was inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld, including about your health, medications, or allergies; (b) your use of the service in a way that breaches these terms or applicable law; (c) your decision to follow, modify, or disregard your meal plan without consulting a doctor where Section 3 or 4 called for one; or (d) a dispute between you and a third party, such as a payment provider, arising from your use of the service.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nutriyo at any time by telling us you want to cancel. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or if we stop offering the service generally. Where we end an active paid plan without cause on our part, we will deal with any amount already paid fairly and in line with Section 8.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as our service changes or to reflect legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Nutriyo after an update means you accept the revised terms.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Nutriyo, including its existence, validity, or termination, will first be raised with our grievance officer (Section 18) for good-faith resolution. If it is not resolved within 30 days, it will be referred to and finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by Nutriyo, seated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and conducted in English. The arbitration award will be final and binding on both parties.

Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not required to be arbitrated.

17. General terms

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Nutriyo regarding your use of the service, and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not act on a breach of these terms straight away, that does not mean we give up our right to act on it later. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else without our consent; we may transfer ours, for example as part of a business transfer, and will let you know if we do.
